A varied and fulfilling role that offers invaluable residential experience of working in a  boarding school.  The Resident Graduate Boarding Assistant will provide support to the Houseparents, live in staff accommodation on site and doing some overnight duties throughout the week.  They will assist with the day to day running of the houses and various boarding duties throughout the day, evening and weekends.  The Resident Graduate Boarding Assistant with provide both pastoral and academic support to the boarders in their care and help to create a home from home environment. The Resident Graduate Boarding Assistant will also provide some support in other areas of the school, both in the wider School community and across the teaching faculty.

This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate in tune with our approach to education in search of gaining experience of living and working in a busy boarding and day school for one academic year, perhaps prior to embarking on a PGCE course or taking up a teaching position. 

Start:             September 2024 (new staff Induction Day 27 August 2024)

Contract:      Fixed for one academic year

Hours:          Average of 40 hours per week during term time (including weekends)
