A Date For Your Diary – Wednesday 18 March

A Bridging-Curriculum Day With a Difference – Your Turn to Come and Join In!

We are excited to invite you to participate in our next Bridging Curriculum Day on 18 March. Students in Years 5-8 will be off timetable for the day to work around the theme, ‘We value being part of an International Community’. We will be looking at a variety of Fairy Tales from different cultures, developing work in mixed year groups, and then presenting and feeding back what we have discovered during the afternoon.

To help you understand more about how the Bridging Curriculum works across our Junior and Senior Schools, we would like to encourage you to come and share in your children’s experiences and learn more. Please come and join us between 2.00pm to 3.30pm for the presentations of the work that has been created and also take part in a traditional Ceilidh dance in the Meeting House. This will be followed by an afternoon tea in the Hub for everyone involved and where you will have the chance to chat to the staff and enjoy some refreshments after all the exertions!

If you would like to attend please RSVP to the Senior School Reception. We’d love to see you there and I’m sure your children will be thrilled to have you joining in with them too.
