Parent & Toddler Pony Session
Monday 10:30 - 11:00am, 11:00 - 11:30am, £7.95 per child
This session will focus on riding and related activities for children aged 2-4 years. We have a team of adorable Shetland ponies and aim to give children a safe and gentle introduction to riding and pony care while gaining confidence and having fun. Children will be able to groom the ponies and have a ride around the arena.
There will be two sessions for you to choose from (term-time only):
Session 1 - 10:30 to 11:00am
Session 2 - 11:00 to 11:30am
Maximum 6 children per session.
Parents will need to always accompany and supervise children. Children need to wear appropriate clothing including long trousers, long sleeved top or coat, and wellington boots. Sidcot School will provide a riding hat. Accompanying adults to wear sensible shoes (not flip flops).
Please park in the Main School carpark and meet at the Equestrian Centre.
Forest School
Tuesday 9:30 - 11:00am, £4.80 per child
Parents/Carers and their children can come and explore our forest area. Activities are based around natural resources, using tools, mud, clay and flora and fauna from the forest. Drinks and snacks are often cooked on the fire, followed by a story and songs. It is very relaxed and a good chance to meet other parents and children. Please park in the Main School carpark and meet near the path at the top.
Muddy Hands Gardening & Nature Club
Wednesday 9:30 - 10:30am, £4.25 per child
This club is based around nature and the seasonal planting of flowers and vegetables. Activities to include sowing seeds, digging, weeding, planting, outdoor crafts, and a story. Please park in the Junior School carpark and meet at the Junior School gate.
Stay and Play
Thursday 9:15 - 10:45am, £3.70 per child
This provides an opportunity for children and adults to get to know other local families in a friendly environment.
We offer soft play, ride-on toys, a variety of imaginative play opportunities, messy play and craft, and snacks for children and parents. The session is ended with a story or singing and music. Please park in the Junior School carpark. Session is in the Junior School Hall.
Family Swim Session
Friday 9:30 - 10:30am, £5.80
The 40 minute swim session introduces babies and toddlers to the water and incorporates rhyme, music and movement. The session is held in the Sports Centre in Sidcot Senior School and is run by a qualified swim instructor. Please park in the Main School carpark.
