Overseas students who are joining Sidcot School without a UK passport (and who plan to stay with us for longer than 6 months) must apply for a child study visa and will receive specialist international student visa support. These services are provided on the school’s behalf by Sable International, a UK immigration law specialist.
Sidcot is a UK Student Visa sponsor with the UKVI (UK Visas and Immigration), so we can issue a CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies) to support international student visa applications. The CAS provides proof that the student has an offer of a school place and is a vital part of the visa application process.
Sable International will contact families after the deposit and application paperwork have been received by our Admissions team.
International Students studying at Sidcot for under 6 months
A reminder that from 2 April 2025, all visitors to the UK or students joining Sidcot for less than 6 months and who do not normally need a visa, will need to register for an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) – a digital permission to travel to the UK.
It can take up to three working days for the ETA to be approved. For more information, please click here.
