The week before half term, I was fortunate enough to join the school trip to Rome and Florence. This has been a wonderful experience to spend with my fellow students.
In Rome, we visited the Vatican, where we saw the wonderful Sistine Chapel, the Colosseum, and the Roman Forum, as well as Fontana Di Trevi and the Roman Pantheon.
To get to Florence, the group took the train, where we had the opportunity to see the beautiful Italian scenery! Once in Florence we had the opportunity to visit either the Basilica of Santa Croce, where we saw an exhibition on Dante’s Divine Comedy, and the Ferragamo Museum where Textile students went to a Gucci exhibition and saw the designer's products in a very interactive display.
We all made sure that we ate pizza at least once, and of course, no one missed having a bit of gelato while in Italy!
