Berrow field trip
As part of the Biology A Level course, students are required to carry out a series of practical activities to achieve the ‘practical endorsement’ qualification. One of these activities involves measuring the distribution of organisms in a habitat. The Lower Sixth students did an excellent job of carrying out these skills in a windy and sometimes wet beach in Berrow last week. They also had a chance to look at succession of plants from the shoreline to the back of the dunes called the climax community. Well done, biologists!
