CAS Day

CAS Day

CAS is an integral part of the International Baccalaureate programme. The three lettersĀ stand for: Creativity, Action, Service and students spend a few hours each week following a programme of activities divided between these three areas. The idea is to provide an enjoyable break from study while giving students the opportunity for personal development and the encouragement needed to try something new.

As an introduction to the programme new IB students were invited to a day of activities designed to familiarise them with the CAS requirements and promote team spirit within the group. The highlights of the day were lunch around a campfire with marshmallows and a walk up Crooke Peak with several of the students opting to find their own way back to Sidcot.
