DofE Gold Training Day
This year there are 11 Lower Sixth students following the Duke of Edinburgh award programme at Gold level. Last Sunday they gathered for a day of expedition training which included advanced navigation, compass work, first aid and route planning for the assessed expedition which will be in the Brecon Beacons in September. They then applied what they had learnt by following routes across the Mendips.
