Duke of Edinburgh award expedition to the Black Mountains
Last weekend 23 students travelled over the water to Wales for their DofE Silver expeditions in the Black Mountains. For the time of the year the weather was kind, but a series of heavy showers on the Saturday tested the students resolve. Most of the students were overseas boarders and it is pleasing to see their enthusiasm and ability to work together to support each other in an environment unfamiliar to them.
