Our intrepid team of performers who made their way out to New York over the half term, have now begun the new adventure of touring the performances to the local Primary Schools in Weston who are part of the ELAN Trust. For each visit they will perform one of the plays and then afterwards, workshop with the students from the school, teaching them drama skills as well as developing their own leadership and communication skills. Our first performance on Wednesday was at Milton Park, where we were warmly welcomed by 70 Year 3 and 4 pupils. Our cast did us proud and coped brilliantly with both the performance and when working with their little groups of students – there was lots of high fives and waves as the children left us at the end of day! We look forward to continuing the adventure over the coming weeks.
