Gearing up for World Book Day 2016

Gearing up for World Book Day 2016

As part of our celebrations for World Book Day, we are looking forward to welcoming author Claire Barker to Sidcot on the morning of Tuesday 1 March. Claire will talk to all of the children in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 about her life as an author and how she wrote her books Knitbone Pepper Ghost Dog and the sequel to Knitbone Pepper Ghost Dog and the Last Circus Tiger. Renowned for being an energetic performer and a lover of crazy hats, her visit is expected to be fun filled and informative. Claire’s latest book is available in the shops from Tuesday 1 March, so children can buy their very own signed copies hot off the press! And one lucky student will win their own free signed book for asking the ‘best question’ on the day.
