Lottie's Pony Club Championships Dressage Success
Lottie was recently given the opportunity to represent her Pony Club at the National Pony Club Championships at Cholmondsey Castle, Cheshire. She came 6th in the dressage which was a great achievement. Lottie is a member at the Polden Hills Pony Club and competed in the individual dressage and team show jumping during the summer.
Earlier in the summer there are area qualifying competitions, to which all Pony Clubs across the UK are grouped into large geographical areas, before teams and individuals qualify for the National Championships. The championships are on a pretty big scale with riders coming from all over the UK to compete in a wide arrange of equestrian disciplines. Quite a few of the UK's top riders start their careers at Pony Club and will have been to the championships.
