Year 10 Business Studies Trip to Purn House Farm
On Monday afternoon 25 Lower Fifth Business Studies students had an inspiring talk and tour led by Alistair House – a local entrepreneur who runs a series of different businesses – including Bleadon Post office, a trailer manufacturing company, fruit pulp processing and more besides. The tour gave students an excellent insight into the practicalities and challenges of being an entrepreneur, and also enabled them to apply the theory that we have studied this term into a real life business. The afternoon was concluded with questions and answers whilst tasting Mrs House's delightful home-made cake.
