Lower Sixth Brean Down Walk - 2016

Lower Sixth Brean Down Walk

Last Wednesday after school lessons were over, the Lower Sixth students went on our annual trip to Brean Down, for a walk along the promontory and a meal afterwards. Brean Down is a short distance away from Sidcot on the coast; we climbed up lots of steps to the cliff top and walked to the abandoned fort at the end. The weather was fabulous and we enjoyed some wonderful views of the beaches on the Somerset coast and Wales in the distance.  We all went for dinner afterwards and it was very good to see how our new Sixth Formers have settled in and made friends so quickly. The picture shows the students climbing the steps at the start of the walk.
