NSEA National Schools Dressage Qualifier
On Saturday 1 October Sidcot School was represented by Erin Crofts (Lower Fourth) and Sophie Lee (Third Form) at Bicton Arena, Devon.
The standard of dressage at this event is very high, with some of the best dressage riders, horses and ponies competing from schools from all over the south west region, including Millfield, Kings School Taunton, Cheltenham College and Dauntsey's School. The Sidcot students also had to compete against some much older riders, some as old as 18.
Both Sophie and Erin rode their ponies beautifully and did extremely well to be placed in separate arenas against over 30 competitors each. With Sophie scoring a magnificent 71.54% and 6th place in her arena and Erin scoring 65.58% in the Everys arena and 9th place.
Very well done, an excellent result.
