Upper Sixth students who applied to universities before Christmas have been receiving conditional offers of places. Many have been delighted to hear from the universities only hours after submitting their forms. Having usually applied for up to five courses, students must eventually choose just two offers to hold until Results Day in August. Then they will be hoping to achieve the grades needed for their first choice. Two students have received a conditional offer of a place at the University of Oxford. Molly Scull is hoping to study German at St. Hilda’s College and Youren Yu has received an offer for Mathematics at Corpus Christi College.
