The Seven Hills Walk
As part of their preparation for the expedition to Tanzania this Summer, 25 students and staff completed the 17 miles of the Seven Hills walk. Starting from Sidcot they climbed Blackdown, Dolebury Warren, Sandford Hill and Banwell Hill before crossing the valley to return via Crooke Peak, Wavering Down and Callow Hill. All of the party showed that they have the fitness which will be needed for the 3 day expedition to climb Little Meru (3800 metres) and the day helped to build the group into a team which will be able to work together effectively on the community project.
