Sidcot Astronomy Group
Thursday 19th April
There were clear skies Thursday night and the moon rose nice and early, so the Sidcot Astronomy Group met at the observatory for a look.
The observatory has a Schmidt Cassegrain telescope with digital control to track objects across the sky, and as you can see from the pictures you get a really good view. Later this year Jupiter will be in a good position, and we're looking forward to seeing it close up.
