Sidcot Swimmers Qualify For The British Championships
James King (Lower Sixth) and Freya King (Lower Fifth) have qualified to swim in the British Championships which take place in Edinburgh in March. James will swim the 200m, 100m and 50m breaststroke and the 400m and 200m individual medley and Freya will swim the 50m breaststroke. The British Championships is the highlight of the national events calender. James and Freya train with Weston-super-Mare Swimming Club with head coach Mark Rawle. They swim regularly at the School pool and use the gym for weight training.
