U14 & U15 Girls' Rounders v Kings of Wessex Academy, Thursday 14th June

Two games of rounders were played in glorious sunshine on Thursday afternoon. There was a lot of laughter as both teams knew many students on the opposition sides.

The U14 game was closely contested  with Sidcot just managing to gain the advantage in the second innings. Molly Whitcombe was player of the match. Final score: Sidcot 10 - 7 KoWA

The U15 game got off to a poor start with the first four sidcot batters being caught out. The rest persevered and managed to stay in until the end of the innings. Kings of Wessex however could really strike the ball well and accrued many rounders in both innings. Olivia Fortune was player of the match. Final score: Sidcot 8.5 - 21.5 KoWA.
