The Story of The Blue Planet
Over the summer holidays, our new Third Form pupils were given a copy of The Story of The Blue Planet by Andri Snaer Magnason.
The children were asked to read the book, write a book review and complete a creative task. This initiative was a joint project between the Third Form staff and the Library team, and Donna Ralph (Head of Third Form) and Andrea Grist (School Librarian) are delighted with the amazing work the children produced.
Here is part of Kyra Bonner's book review: "I thought the plot was very good. What I enjoyed most was that Mr Jolly Goodday tried to trick the children, but in the end they were able to turn it around and trick him. So like the world is supposed to go around the story went around in a full circle. I think this added to the effect of the story."
The work produced is now on show in the library – do come and have a look.
