Students utilise new Learning Pod
Current STAC Chairman, Matthew French (Lower Fourth), had this to say:
"The learning Pod was designed by STAC (Sidcot Technology Advisory Committee) and purchased with money from SOSA (Sidcot Old Scholars Association) to promote independent learning at Sidcot. The project was nearly 100% student led. STAC members Daniel Marcos-Ashworth, Jonathan Peters and Jan Dirk Schepers did the presentations and campaigning to fund the Pod. The Pod is a space where students can work together in small groups and enables them to work and share information using computers or without. The past members of STAC spent three years working to purchase the Pod and we, the current members of STAC, hope it will be used for many years to come."
