Top of The Bench
On Thursday, a team of four students attended the annual Royal Society of Chemistry 'Top of the Bench' competition at Bristol University. The team of students, consisting of Lucy Chen, Lucy Zeeman, Imogen Moroney and Freya King had the chance to demonstrate their skills in a series of experiments before watching an exciting lecture demonstration which included hydrogen balloons, liquid nitrogen and dry ice. An enjoyable day was had by all and the team achieved third position out of twelve schools in the local area that took part – a fantastic end to the day.
