Year 6 Residential Camp
Last week saw Year 6’s turn to go away on their residential camp.
With a group of very excited children, we set off towards Okehampton for a fun-filled week of outdoor pursuits.
We were thankfully blessed with very good weather and everyone returned on Friday feeling a little tired, but having had a great week. We were so impressed with how all children got involved in every aspect of camp life, many overcoming fears and persevering with some challenging activities.
Some of the activities included: team games, night walk, Lake Day (canoeing, kayaking and raft building), high ropes, archery, rock climbing, gorge scrambling, bush craft, mountain biking and weaseling.
