Year 7 Mathematics Trip: Techniquest
On Tuesday this week, thirty-six Year 7 students and four staff went to Cardiff's Science Centre, Techniquest.
During the day, we had some puzzles to solve and hands-on experience of some of the most ancient and modern brainteasers around. We also looked at the main science exhibits, which included a hydraulic powered Welsh dragon! The highlight of the day was the Maths Magic show which showed how the beauty of Mathematics can be used to read minds, help you work out someone's birth date and even predict the future!
The students' behaviour was exemplary and an enjoyable time was had by all.
