Yet More Caving Adventures!
Our last trip of the term saw us go down Pierre’s Pot – another cave in Burrington Combe. It was a cold, cold day – but underground it did not seem too bad! The intrepid group – all girls – delved about and negotiated, amongst other challenges, a narrow vertical tunnel which required some sliding and slipping down smooth shiny rocks! Great fun!
So, three caverns explored over our Sidcot Saturday weeks – Goatchurch, Sidcot Swallet and Pierre’s Pot.
That still leaves plenty for next year!
Well done to all.
