Thursday 28th November - Weston Hornets Rugby Club
I've been a proud teacher this year to see these boys grow into rugby players. Reflecting on the side line with one of the parents it is obvious that we have developed.
Our individual skills, passing, tackling and rucking have improved enormously. But what is most heartening is how they have come together as a group. It is evident on the field as they organise and line up to make their tackles and how they support and encourage each other off the field.
Playing on the Weston Hornets 4G surface and having the RFU development officer referee each game for us really helped to make sure the players were in the right place at the right time on the pitch. It was great to see Dante Thomas turn out for the team for the first time. Finn Painter, Alex Bryant, Johnny Lee and Louis Hudson all carrying well and working hard with the team supporting them.
Well done boys - looking forward to 7's next year!
