Combe House is situated a short distance away from the main school building and has fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. The House itself was originally built as a family home and it still has a relaxing homely environment. This year, the house is used by Sixth Formers who live there semi-independently. This is a great way to get a feel for what life at university will look like. The house is linked to SHG and the girls regularly attend roll calls in School to ensure that they are still involved in the hustle and bustle of School House Girls’ life! The housemistress is Amandine Smilevich, and the matron is Rachel Jones.
