Words cannot express how sad we are about the sudden death of Gabs Roux-Elms.
This time last year he had filled the lower corridor of the Art Gallery with his paintings, and in the autumn three of his paintings were exhibited in the Wells Art Contemporary exhibition at the Bishop’s Palace in Wells.
He had such an amazing creative drive, a wonderful sense of humour, and a real creative passion.
The world has lost an true artist, and will be the poorer because of it.
