Billy Attends Rugby Festival at Wellington College
Upper Fifth student Billy Lindsay recently spent a week at the England Rugby / RFU Rugby Festival at Wellington College in Berkshire.
This is a significant pathway event where the 14 Premiership Academies send their best players for a week-long residential camp of learning and coaching. They covered a lot of ground with talks on nutrition, social media, tactics and fitness etc..
Billy was coached by England scrum half Richard Wigglesworth on Thursday and Eddie Jones (England Head Coach) and Wayne Barnes (world class referee) also came along to give presentations to the boys.
Billy managed to sneak into a few shots in this piece from the BBC and he also snuck onto this England Rugby video on Twitter!
