Christmas cards for Tanzania
Lower Sixth Student Valeria Slahova has designed a Christmas card which is being sold to raise money for the community project which is part of the school expedition to Tanzania in July 2016.
In Tanzania, Sidcot students spend four days working in a primary school to provide a more pleasant teaching environment for the children. The money collected pays for paints to brighten the classrooms as well as materials to construct new desks. In addition trees are purchased and planted in deforested areas on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro.
The cards can be purchased from the Senior School Reception and the Hub. All support will be greatly appreciated for this worthwhile project.
