ELAN Tag Rugby Festival

We took nine brave souls to Worle School last Monday for the ELAN Trust TAG Rugby Festival for Year 6 pupils. It was a festival with rulings that every team playing must have at least two girls on the pitch at any time. In fact we made sure there was a 50-50% representation and as a result we had a storming time!

A cautious first game where we were having to adjust our physical and mental skills to Tag Rugby. But after that we let the handbrake off. Mimi Woodliffe showing that she was a marvelous defender and no runner with Tags were safe and Louis Brown and Freddie Adams tore through the defence.

We didn’t even notice the rain!

We were the last team on the pitch, keen to play more.

A wonderful fun experience that allowed us to play with children from other local schools and adapt and adjust our skills to a new fast flowing game many have never played!

Well done team!
