Sidcot swimmer Owain Edwards has just competed in 12 events at the Regionals over the last two weekends. He successfully reached ten finals and achieved a bronze medal in the 100m Fly, 4x 4th places and 12 personal best times. This now makes Owain the county's fastest swimmer in his age group for seven events and number three in the overall Welsh rankings having qualified for all 13 events he targeted at this summer's Welsh Nationals.
On another note, Owain has been invited to swim in the Guernsey Open which runs from Friday 7 June to Sunday 9 June inclusive. He is delighted to be taking part in this event due to his maternal family residing on the island. This is a prestigious event that Owain has a significant chance of winning the overall trophy for and we wish him all the best!
