U12 netball won 6- 5. Well done to player of the match Frankie.
It was the toughest match so far for the year 7 side in which they rose to the challenge. They scored some great goals and made some excellent interceptions which made the difference.
U13 netball lost 15- 5. Well done to player of the match Beth.
A great performance from year 8, the girls made some excellent interceptions in the centre court and there was some lovely shooting. Unfortunately Backwell were too good and managed to score more points.
U14 netball lost 20- 9. Well done to player of the match Emily.
The score did not represent the play in this game. There were spells where we demonstrated some real potential and made some excellent passes but Backwell were too strong. There was also some great defensive work in the defensive circle.
U15 hockey lost 2- 0. Well done to player of the match Vicki.
The girls were tenacious in their efforts to defend against a strong Backwell side. No quarter was given and tackles were fierce and determined. They did very well to hold the score to a goal defeat.
U16 hockey lost 2- 0. Well done to player of the match Sophie.
These girls defended robustly against a strong Backwell combination who attacked with vigour. The final score of a lose of 2- 0 was felt to be a positive result.
