Well done to all girls who took part in rounders fixtures against Churchill this week, another superb evening of girls sport.

Third Form Lost: Sidcot 5.5 - 9.5 Churchill
Well done to player of the match Harriet Blair. A very eager and enthusiastic team, who managed to strike the ball well in the second innings. There was also some assured fielding between backstop and second post, preventing a number of scoring from the other team.
Lower Fourth Won: Sidcot 10-9.5 Churchill
Well done to player of the match Ava Palmer. A very close match for the lower forth side, they just about won the first innings but unfortunately lost the second innings. However, overall they managed to win by half a rounder. There was some superb batting distance and accuracy and some wonderful catches.
Upper Fourth Lost: Sidcot 6- 8.5 Churchill
Well done to player of the match Ella Hicks-Hurley. The girls performed quite well and certainly raised their game in the second innings, with sharper fielding and some super batting.
Lower Fifth Drew: Sidcot 7.5- 7.5 Churchill
This was another nail-biting match for these girls and the scores were very close all the way through both innings. They composed themselves well under pressure but could not quite clinch the winner.
