Senior Sidcot Technology students offer free design consultancy!
Advanced Level Product Design students in the Lower Sixth are currently researching ideas and contexts to form the basis of their extended design project. The Design Technology department wishes to extend the scope of the work undertaken even further this year and is seeking to link up with companies or individuals who may potentially have ideas or projects that the students could engage with. Projects, commissions, or assignments that have an element of problem solving and a designed and manufactured outcome will be most welcome for consideration. The students are expected to work for 12 to 15 weeks on the assignment and linking up with real engineering or design issues from within the community provides them with a chance to respond to relevant and current design activities. They await the Challenge.
