Eight students who are going on the next Sidcot expedition to Tanzania, have recently completed the Seven Hills Walk. The walk was a team building exercise in preparation for Tanzania and also an opportunity for fund raising. It was a bright day with a cold wind and the group made quick progress around the circular route which starts and finishes at Sidcot visiting the seven hills: Blackdown, Dolebury Warren, Sandford Hill, Banwell Hill, Crook Peak, Wavering Down and Callow Hill.
This year’s trip to Tanzania is from 2 July to 11 July and the students will carry out tasks to improve a local primary school, plant trees on the slopes of Kilimanjaro, visit an orphanage and complete a two-day safari.
