Well done to the riders that represented Sidcot School at the NSEA county championship qualifier held at Kings Sedgemoor Equestrian Centre. It was an incredibly long and cold day with Sidcot Equestrian featuring in all 5 classes. It was also a new feature this year after we were now competing for the ‘Somerset’ county slot, compared to ‘Avon’ in recent years. Nevertheless, all riders and their horses performed to their best ability qualifying in the 70cm, 80cm, and 90cm classes, something that no school has ever achieved before. Congratulations to Hugo Blair, Holly Cooke, Nelly Lee, Holly Cooke, Archie Stamp, Harriet Blair, Sophie Lee, Henry Blair, Daisy Bowles, Sina Schumann, Elsa Cardale and Pauline Dodenhof. The riders will fly the flag for both Sidcot School and the county of Somerset at the NSEA National County Championships in April at Hartpury College.
