Sidcot Equestrian Team Update
Last weekend was another great for Team Sidcot. On Saturday our show jumping team (Archie Stamp, Erin Crofts and Harriet Blair) won the 70cm class at Wick to secure their slot in the top eight of the British Show jumping league. Our 80cm team also won their class which was another fantastic result – again, securing their slot in the top of the league. Henry Blair was the winner of the 90cm class. A big well done to all riders and we shall look forward to watching them in action at The British Show Jumping Finals during the summer.
On Sunday we saw a change of pace as we headed to Millfield with our Dressage team. We were competing for one of the top three places to secure our position at the National Dressage championships. Yet again both riders and horses did themselves and Sidcot proud, qualifying for the National Championships. Evie Puddy also secured a well-deserved individual 8th place. Well done to all the riders involved: Erin Crofts, Harriet Blair, Lottie Gunter, Evie Puddy and Henry Blair.

We have already had lots of enquiries about riding lessons from September. If you would like to sign your son or daughter up to ride at Urchinwood from September please feel free to email equestrian@sidcot.org.uk. More information will be sent out in due course, but equally happy to take names from now and send out the necessary rider registration forms.
Our jumps have been set up in Tom's Field for all riders who train at school to practice over. Those wishing to utilise this facility must notify and register at the Equestrian office where you must first sign the necessary paperwork.
