Victorian Dragons’ Den Grand Final 2015
On Thursday 26 November four groups of Upper Fourth faced the daunting prospect of pitching their product to four “dragons” hoping that one at least would choose to invest in their product. All of the products were genuine Victorian inventions and most were unusual or even bizarre.
The inventions: the Velososphere, an early form of zorbing; the Improved Swimming Device or Bikeski, the Life Protector and finally, what proved to be the winning entry, the Equine Treadmill – by Maddy Northcott, Sophie Cummings and Lauren Wilkins.
Congratulations to all our competitors for an extremely high standard of presentations and outstanding responses to some very challenging questions.
