Sidcot Swim School is an inclusive and friendly swim school offering lessons for anyone age 3+, both children and adults. We are committed to helping swimmers of all ages and abilities become safe and confident in the water, develop a love for the pool and become technically proficient swimmers. We are able to offer One to One, One to Two and group lessons.
Our class sizes are small and we pride ourselves on providing excellent tuition in a beautiful pool. We follow the Swim England Ducklings, Learn to Swim and Adult Swimming Framework.

The swim school terms run in line with Sidcot School terms. Fees are payable in full for the term, in advance via Direct Debit.
If you are unsure of your child's Swim England stage please complete our Swim School Assessment. If you need any further help please email swimschool@sidcot.org.uk. To enquire about lessons please register on the Client Hub and send a message via the hub detailing the lesson stage required and we will be in touch with current availability.
Pre-Swimmers (Age 3+)
These lessons are the first stage of developing water confidence, learning to be safe in the water and beginning their journey on the Swim England Learn to Swim programme. Duckling Awards are included in the lessons cost. Maximum class sizes of three.

Stages 1-10
Moving on from the Pre-Swimmers course and working through the Swim England (ASA) Learn to Swim programme. These lessons work through the fundamentals of swimming and the four main strokes. Maximum class sizes of six.

Rookie Lifeguards
Rookie Lifeguard sessions are designed by the RLSS to enable children to be safe and confident in and around water, suitable for Stages 6+.and ages 8-12 years. There are three stages; Bronze, Silver and Gold.
Sidcot Swim, Fit & Fun
This session will replace the Sidcot Social Swim Club. It’s a fun session with a combination of swimming skills, technique and team games, this session is suitable for swimmers Stage 7+.
1:1 Lessons
One to One lessons are available for all ability and age swimmers. These lessons can be beneficial for learning to swim, developing technique or working on a particular swimming element. Children’s lessons will use the Swim England framework as detailed above.
Competitive Swim
Sessions for competitive swimmers to enable them to offer their weekly training hours, provide swimmers with a deeper understanding of skills and drills used in their swim clubs, create similar or equal sets and exercises with added detail and focus on strokes and techniques. An opportunity for swimmers from a range of clubs to come together.
Adult Lessons
Suitable for aged 18+ of all abilities including non-swimmers and those who are able to swim but are looking to improve stroke efficiency and/or learn new techniques. There is also the opportunity to practice strokes and gain distance awards if desired.
Lesson availability can be checked and bookings made online, if there is no availability and you would like to be added to a waiting list please email swimschool@sidcot.org.uk with your name, date of birth and address. We will then add you to the system and let you know when a suitable lesson is available.
